MPSC Players Participate in USYS Olympic Development Program

Through a series of state, sub-regional and regional evaluations that started back in November 2008, seventeen MPSC players made it through to the South Carolina Sub-Regional teams in the boys 1994, 1995 and 1996 groupings.
The 1996 – youngest ever to participate in USYS-ODP saw a total of nine MPSC players go through to Region III camp July 13-17 in Tuscaloosa, AL: Austin Barrington Alex Bourland Brady Allardice Christopher Corontzes Darby Martens Tucker Heffron Spencer Wilder Coleman Richards Miranda Weslake
In the 1995 boys division five players also made it through to play for SC at Regions Camp: Andrew Davis Andrew Eskinazi Brock King Sammy Kunitz-Levy Joseph Wichmann
The 1994 boys had two MPSC players to make starting line-up at Region III camp: Christian Jablonski Charlie Heffron
At the end of the Region III Camp three SC 1995 players from MPSC were selected from over 300 players across the 10 state area to represent Region III on the national level: Andrew Davis Andrew Eskinazi Joseph Wichmann
Clearly our methods, training and coaching are having a noticeable effect on the level of play from our MPSC players. Well done and congratulations!!
