Two of MPSC ’94 Premier players departed Charleston February 25 for Costa Rica to play with the USYSA ODP Region III team. They are to compete in matches against the top teams Alajuela, Brujas, Heredia and Saprissa in the capital city of San Jose’ February 25- March 4. Goal keeper Joseph Wichmann and forward Andrew Eskinazi were selected as two of the top players in the 12 state area that make up Region III. This prestigious event is sanctioned by USSF and FIFA . It is their mission to identify and prepare the top US players for domestic and international competitions such as the Olympics, World Cup, US Cup, CONCACAF Cup and international exchanges. This will be Andrew and Joseph’s first international play since they traveled to England with their MPSC team in 2008.
